How We Work
The VC LTDRG is working with VCVOAD to understand the needs from the November 2024 Mountain Fire.
The information below is related to operations for the 2017 and 2018 fire recovery that concluded in Dec 2022. The information remains online as a resource for residents and other communities.
The VC LTDRG structure is set up to be guided by a steering committee consisting of the chairs of each of the following committees. Committees are focused on specific aspects of recovery.
The individual committees have separate meetings. Contact committee chairs for details on meeting times and locations. As of 2022, committees are focusing on documenting lessons and integrating best practices into preparedness plans as part of the Ventura County VOAD.
